Since spring, Heysham Golf Club has been using a fleet of 11 Kress KR237E robotic mowers, transforming the way they maintain their course throughout the year.

From summer rough to winter fairways, tees and rough, the results have been fantastic — and we’re delighted to share feedback from Dave Hutchinson, Course Manager at Heysham Golf Club.

💬 HERE’S WHAT DAVE HAD TO SAY:

“Heysham Golf Club currently has a fleet of 11 KR237E Kress robotic mowers. They have been in action since spring, and the course has never looked better. They cut all the rough in summer and now in winter they are cutting the rough, fairways and tees.

The difference they have made already is unbelievable. They can cut in all weather, and we don’t have to take the large machines out on to the course now in winter, which saves so much mess and compaction.

We trialled a few different models of robots and Kress were by far the best cut on our undulating ground. It was also simple to map the course, and the app is easy to use. Kress are very efficient too as the charge time isn’t long so we get maximum cutting every day.

We bought the robots from Dennis Barnfields in Bolton Le Sands. The customer service and back up we got off them was superb. Robin, Glen and Josh were so helpful and understanding and I can’t thank them enough.

Robots are the future as they save time and money and allow us to concentrate on other areas on the golf course.”
