WINTER MUCK IS A BIT LIKE MARMITE… YOU EITHER LOVE IT OR HATE IT!

Marmite? Love it or hate it.

Winter muck? We’re guessing some people are firmly in the HATE IT camp!

When the rain sets in, the ground turns to mush, and the muck starts piling up, there’s one thing you don’t want… to be left in a sticky situation!

At UKAP, we’re here to help keep things moving when winter gets messy.

Whether you’re shifting muck, clearing a site or getting your next project ready, we’re here to help take the mud out of the muddle.

Because while Marmite might divide opinion, getting the muck sorted shouldn’t!

🎉 Happy Birthday 🎂

Some people have a job description… and then there’s Pete!

From driving our wagons to keeping the fleet in check, mapping out workflows, helping keep the yard running smoothly, and even getting stuck into our new and improved water system to keep the dust down, Pete certainly knows his way around!

These days, he’s swapped the driver’s seat for a few more strings to his bow, proving he knows a thing or two about what goes on around the yard!

So, today, we’re giving Pete a well-deserved birthday shout-out and thanking him for all he brings to the team.

Have a brilliant birthday; we hope your day runs as smoothly as a well-planned workflow!

Happy Birthday from all the team!

ALFIE’S HARDER THAN OUR HARDCORE!

Huge congratulations to Alfie on another W!

Competing in his 4th amateur MMA fight at Chester County Sports Club in Chester, Alfie secured the victory via submission with a technique called “Mother’s Milk”

We stock hardcore products at UKAP, but Alfie’s proving he’s made of even tougher stuff…

The win takes Alfie to an impressive 3–1 amateur MMA record, and if that’s how he celebrates, we definitely wouldn’t want to get on his bad side!

Congratulations, Alfie!

Keep bringing the pressure and stacking those wins!

🚨 IMPORTANT CUSTOMER UPDATE — CLEAN HARDCORE TIPPING 🚨

To all our existing customers and to anyone looking to use UKAP for clean hardcore tipping.

From Monday 12th October 2026, a £20 + VAT charge will apply per load when tipping clean hardcore at our yard.

This applies regardless of the size of the load. Whether you are tipping 1 tonne, 10 tonnes or 20 tonnes.

Why is this charge being introduced?

We have always accepted clean hardcore at UKAP. However, under new waste tracking and reporting requirements, every load needs to be tracked and ticketed, regardless of the type or quantity of waste.

This small fee helps us cover the additional administration, processing, tracking and compliance involved in meeting these requirements.

👉 What can you do?

Please ensure that your hardcore is:

✅ Clean
✅ Correctly segregated
✅ Free from other waste and contamination

Loads containing other materials may require different handling and could incur additional charges.

We’re committed to keeping waste out of landfill wherever possible and ensuring everything we handle is managed properly, responsibly and compliantly.

We appreciate our existing customers' continued support and look forward to welcoming new customers on board.

Please share this update with anyone who may be tipping clean hardcore at our yard in the near future.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANDY!

Whether he’s organising stock, recycling aggregates, keeping the crusher munching through the day, or screening topsoil to perfection, Andy is involved in pretty much everything that moves around our yard.

You could say he’s the aggregate behind the operation!

From keeping the yard running smoothly to making sure the end product is up to scratch, Andy brings the knowledge, graft and good humour that make a massive difference to the team.

So today, we’re putting the crusher on idle, giving the stockpiles a rest, and raising a well-earned cuppa to our main man!

Happy Birthday, Andy!

Thanks for all the hard work, dedication and everything you do for UKAP.

Have a brilliant day, mate!
