Those working in Truro City Centre can park for up to 24 hours in the High Cross NCP Car Park for the reduced rate of £4.95 Monday to Saturday, when entering the Saver ID Code into the NCP ParkPass App: www.ncp.co.uk/parking-solutions/ncpapp/

𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁
The JustPark Wallet offers discounted parking in most Cornwall Council long stay car parks. Relevant for those who commute, as well as those who regularly visit Truro.

Parking sessions in selected long-stay car parks with Just Park Wallet are £2.89 per day in Truro. With a Just Park Wallet you can choose to park in Truro's Edward St, Garras Wharf and Moresk car parks, and any of the Cornwall Carparks listed here.

You will need to download the JustPark App and pre-load the JustPark Wallet with at least £35 which needs to be used within two years.

𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗿𝗼 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲
Truro's Park and Ride is an affordable parking option if you work in Truro during the day (parking at both Langarth Park and Tregurra Park is available 6.30am to 8.30pm, Monday to Saturday). It's not exclusive for those working in the city centre.

Multi-Day Tickets to travel on the Park and Ride cost from £1.86 per day (this is for a 60 day ticket which doesn't have to used on consecutive days).

𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗿𝗼'𝘀 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹

As previously communicated, we stopped using the DISC Crime Reporting Tool on 31 March and, following our work with UK Partners Against Crime (UKPAC), now use the SentrySIS digital platform.

UKPAC is a crime reduction cooperative that uses the SentrySIS digital platform as its core operating technology for crime reporting, intelligence sharing, and offender tracking.

The SentrySIS reporting tool is more aligned with the internal Police Crime Systems and therefore easier for the police to retrieve evidence. Hopefully, the result will be more prosecutions of high street crime.

Truro businesses, if you were registered and active on DISC, you should have received a welcome email from Sentrysis. Please activate this so that you can join. If you haven't recieved a welcome email from Sentrysis, please email Truro BID on [email protected].

A warm welcome to Cocoa Truro who have recently opened at 3 Princes St, next to Busby & Fox and opposite the Truro Lounge .

Cocoa Truro is a play café offering a fun and welcoming play area for babies and toddlers up to the age of 6. They are open 7 days a week, Monday to Saturday 8.30am-4pm and Sunday 10am-3pm

Their lovely play area is for ages 0-6. It's free for under 1s and £5 per child for 1.5 hours. Customers can buy a block of 6 play sessions for the price of 4 and they will also have classes in their upstairs room starting very soon. You can find them on Instragram

We have started putting up posters up in Truro for Children's Day, which is taking place across the city centre on Saturday 20 June.

We're also out and about from this week asking businesses to host window posters and flyers for our summer events, Children's Day and the Truro Classic Car Show. Both these events are being kindly sponsored by Coodes Solicitors and full event details are listed on www.visittruro.org.uk.

All Truro businesses are invited to attend the next Shop Watch meeting, on Tuesday 2 June 10am at Training Room 4a, Pydar House, Pydar St, TR1 1XU.

Shop Watch meetings provide businesses with a chance to share city centre crime related topics, local knowledge and issues with other businesses, the police and Truro BID.

It would be great to have lots of businesses and organisations joining in, so just turn up to the Shop Watch meeting on Tuesday 2 June.

Visit Truro, a service provided by Truro City Council, is inviting residents and visitors to share their experiences of Truro as part of its newly launched 2026 Visitor Survey. The survey, hosted by The South West Research Company Ltd. on behalf of Visit Truro, aims to gather valuable insights that will help shape and improve the visitor experience across the city.

The survey focuses on both current and previous leisure visits to Truro, seeking feedback on what visitors enjoy most and where improvements can be made. By collecting a wide range of responses, Visit Truro hopes to ensure the city continues to evolve as a welcoming, vibrant destination for everyone.

Participants can expect the survey to take just a few minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous, and no individuals will be identified in any reporting or findings. As a token of appreciation, those who complete the survey will have the option to enter into a prize draw to win a Cornish Food & Drink hamper worth £100. A reminder that we will organising Children's Day this year for Saturday 20 June. There will be family- friendly activities on Lemon Quay including mountain bike stunt shows, pedal bike obstacle course, have-a-go at circus skills, dance performance and stalls, along with other activity in Pydar St.

We have around 30 businesses across taking part and would love to have more.

Sports Direct in Pydar Street, have had a deliver of the new Chaos Rising Pokémon cards and box sets. The box sets (£49.99) will be sold at 1 per customer and the individual trading cards is (£4.29 each) sold at 4 per customer. Charmelon sets cost £13.99. Well done to Sport Direct who don't usually stock Pokémon.

We've also been told that Malletts Home Hardware, Harry's Toy Chest, and Happy Piranha will be selling Pokémon TCG expansion, Mega Evolution—Chaos Rising, so it's great news that Pokémon Fans can purchase them from multiple places in Truro!
