The Shishi Odoshi has a 500-year history in Japanese garden design.

Originally used to scare deer from crops with its rhythmic clacking sound, it became a fixture of zen and contemplative garden design for exactly that reason: the sound works. Water fills, tips, splashes, clacks, resets. The cycle is genuinely calming.

Our Moso Bamboo Roll Screen is the product we have sold the longest, and it earns that reputation. Light golden-yellow Moso poles, galvanised wire, available in full height (2m x 2m) or half height (1m x 2m). It fixes against existing fences, cuts to width, and works for interiors too.
