UAC Berhad (UAC) recently held a strategic discussion with the Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA) to strengthen their business operations within the Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER). This proactive move aligns the company’s direction with the NCER Strategic Development Plan 2026–2030, which focuses on driving high-value investments in the region.

The main agenda of the dialogue centered on UAC Berhad’s intent to explore and leverage various fiscal incentives and business grants offered by NCER. These grants are specifically designed to support local companies operating within the corridor zone across several critical areas, including Research & Development (R&D), Smart Factory Adaptation and Local Talent Development.

As a commercial entity situated right within the NCER economic zone, UAC Berhad is strategically positioned to expand its growth. Ultimately, the synergy between NCER and UAC will contribute directly to the local economy and create high-quality employment opportunities across Malaysia's northern region.
