P3 for Opening night 🏁

We had a tough night out at the track on Saturday night to start the season. The car showed a lot of speed moving through the pack nicely in heat 1 until we had a yellow and the belts came unbuckled as I went to tighten them and didn’t have enough time to re buckle causing a DNF for heat 1 putting us on the back foot !

We then started 4th for heat 2 and got to the lead quickly and showed great pace to take the heat win 🏆

Feature - We started out of grid 9 after having a 3 minute bell to try fix a dead battery issue, unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to swap it but managed to get going and finish the race. The track was super one laned and we never got a chance to show our true pace but ended up 3rd. Congrats to Keiano on the win and Ethan on his second place.

Not a bad salvage position but hoping for a smoother night this Saturday at Kihikihi for their opening night ✅

Awesome TQ debut weekend for Vincent!

Feature: P2 ➡️ 2nd!!

Ok folks, night is done and dusted but not without some twists and turns!

The feature was called at lap 10 due to a car going over after riding Vins rear, this car struck another car, that required the ambo - absolutely relieved to know the driver will be ok, albeit a bit sore. Hoping for a speedy recovery for him!!

Luckily for Vin the race was called as his gear stick broke and he was sitting in 3rd, there was then a relegation so he inherited 2nd place 🥈behind Aaron Humble Motorsport, congrats on your win, especially running on coffee and petrol fumes alone 👏

Vin did some awesome driving among some heavy hitters in the TQ scene and the sprinking of luck helped with his result too. Very stoked overall and proud!!

2 from 2 to start the season 🏆🏁

P1 at the West coast TQ champs at Greenstone park speedway 🏆

Continued our strong start to the season with our second win from two starts, we made some good gains from our first meeting and set the fastest lap in both heat races. Comfortable in the feature till about the half way mark when an issue with the driver arrived and slowed us down over the closing laps, this will have to be sorted over the next few weeks.

Congratulations to Aaron (& thanks for coming) for second and Kohen for third.
