Happy Tuesday! ☀️

A little McDonald's Mt Albert action to start off the week, working alongside the team at Livingstone Building NZ. 🤙

🏗️On Thursday, the Insulator team attended the Pro Clima seminar.

It was a great opportunity to connect with architects, builders, suppliers and local council representatives, while learning more about this great exterior system.
With the opportunity to be involved as an installer, it was a valuable chance to build connections and introduce Insulator to more industry professionals, both in Auckland and nationwide.

A big thank you to Knox Peni, Kahu and Quinn for representing Insulator at the seminar. Great work, gents! 👏

Thanks to Outright for the invite!

Another day on the road for the Insulator team 🚚🏡

We’re out getting another home insulated with support from the EECA Warmer Kiwi Homes programme, helping eligible homeowners make their homes warmer and more comfortable.
It’s always good to see the Insulator truck out and another job underway.

Meet one of the legends behind the team Knox Peni 👋

With 20+ years in the construction industry and experience across teaching, hospitality, plumbing, retail and more, there’s not much he hasn’t turned his hand to! 🔨

After making the move into insulation 13 years ago, he’s built up a wealth of hands-on experience, practical skills and industry knowledge - all while making sure the job is done safely and properly.

Outside of work, he’s a proud dad of four boys and one girl, and a very proud grandad to nine awesome grandkids! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦❤️

When he’s not working or spending time with the family, you’ll likely find him out fishing 🎣 or lending a helping hand wherever he can.

And above all, his faith and love for Jesus are a big part of who he is, with a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others.

A wealth of experience, a big heart, and plenty of stories along the way - we’re lucky to have him on the team! 👏

🏗️ Another project underway!

Our team is on site at Parkridge Superette, carrying out the insulation installation for Cook Brothers Construction (CBC).
This project is being insulated using PIL Tempertherm R3.6 – 140mm batts, providing the thermal performance required for the build.
A big shoutout to our installer putting in the hard yards on site.

💪 Quality insulation starts with quality installation.
Great to see the Insulator team continuing to deliver across commercial projects. 🔥

✨️MEET THE TEAM | GETTING TO KNOW Chrissy ✨️

With almost three years in the construction industry, Chrissy has worked across Operations, ECCA and Administration, bringing a whole range of experience to the team. Before joining the insulation industry, she worked in AI and telecommunications, so she’s had quite the journey getting to where she is today!

No two days are the same in her role, and that’s exactly what she enjoys. From helping keep things organised and supporting the team to getting involved in all the behind-the-scenes action, she loves the variety her role brings and being part of keeping everything running smoothly.

Outside of work, life is just as busy being a mum to two girls! When she’s not keeping things moving at work, you’ll find her travelling with her hubby and kids, trying new food and exploring new places. Some of her favourite destinations so far include Kuala Lumpur, Montenegro, Amsterdam and Galway. 🌍✈️

And if there’s one thing she loves just as much as travelling, it’s makeup and skincare! Whether she’s trying out a new product, adding to her collection or having a browse at Mecca, there’s always something new to discover. 💄

She loves keeping busy, having a laugh and getting stuck into whatever comes her way, both at work and at home.

We’re lucky to have her as part of the team! 👏

What you don’t always see 👀

The early starts, loading up the vans, checking the gear and getting everything ready before the first job of the day. 🚐

Just another morning for the team!

☀️Sales leader. Sunshine chaser. Aperol Spritz enthusiast. Proud co-owner of Insulator NZ. ☀️

💫MEET THE TEAM| Kirsten Chisholm, Co-owner and Director of Sales

With a background in sales management, a Degree in Sales & Marketing, and over a decade of experience managing a construction company, Kirsten brings experience, passion, and plenty of structure to everything she does. She loves connecting with clients, improving processes, and ensuring every detail is taken care of.

Originally from Auckland, Kirsten made the move to the Waikato in 2014 with her husband, Andy. Together they're not only business partners but proud owners of Insulator NZ. After raising their two daughters, who are now both adults, they're embracing the empty nester life while continuing to grow the business they love.

Known for being highly organised and having exceptionally high standards, Kirsten is the person making sure the details are right, the systems are working, and the customer experience is second to none.

When she's not focused on sales and strategy, you'll find her at the gym, walking her two dogs, travelling, enjoying time at the beach or on the water, and soaking up as much sunshine as possible. And if there's an Aperol Spritz or a great glass of w**e involved, even better! 🍹☀️🌊🐾

Driven, passionate, and always ready for the next challenge, Kirsten is a huge part of what makes Insulator NZ the company it is today. 💙
