Now that the dust is settling a little from Grand Opening weekend, I just wanted to say thank you.
This project has been a huge undertaking over the last several months. There were a lot of late nights, early mornings, stressful moments, and days where it felt like we'd never get everything done. But this team kept pushing forward the entire time.
I could not be more proud of our staff. They worked incredibly hard through the reset, helped customers while departments were constantly changing, stocked shelves, built displays, cleaned, moved fixtures, hung signs, and somehow still managed to make customers feel welcome through all of it.
This weekend was everything we hoped it would be and more. Seeing so many people excited about the store, hearing all the compliments, and watching the community show up the way they did meant a lot to me and my family.
Speaking of family, I also want to thank mine. Running a business like this takes a lot of support behind the scenes, and they sacrificed a lot of time with me during this process. They carried more than their share at home while I was spending long hours at the store trying to bring this vision to life.
We’re incredibly thankful for this community, for our employees, and for everyone who came out to support us this weekend. East Grand Forks has always felt like home to us, and this weekend was a reminder of why.
