β οΈβοΈIYKYK...THE SAFETY RIDE YOU DIDN'T KNOW YOU NEEDED TO SEE! βοΈβ οΈ
Marsh Savitski and Chris Hofer take you through the safety precautions and parking for this years HAY-LLOWEEN Block Party 2026! For your safety, our safety, and all sanity, PLEASE watch the entire video. (maybe in the future we'll post the bloopers π)
All jokes aside, behind the candy, costumes, contests, and chaos that make HAY-LLOWEEN so much fun, there's been a LOT of thought, planning, and conversations about keeping our community safe.
Planning for this year's event started November 1st, 2025. π And one of the VERY first conversations we had was, "Where are we going to SAFELY put everyone?!"
We love seeing this event grow, and we love that so many families come out to enjoy it. But with more people comes more responsibility, and we take that seriously. Our goal has always been to create something our community can enjoy without having to worry about the little things we've already spent months worrying about FOR you.
Now, if you're one of those people who skips straight to the comments instead of watching the video (we know you're out there), here's what you need to know:
Parking: Please park your vehicles starting in the Musky Lot, next to the City Hall and City of Hayward, WI Fire Department. Overflow parking should continue on the public parking lot behind Frandsen Bank.
The walk: The entrance to the Trunk-or-Treat will begin on Wisconsin Avenue by the Co-op Auto Center. Use the sidewalk up Dakota Avenue to HWY 63, you will see the entrance of the event on Wisconsin Avenue.
A LITTLE SOMETHING FROM ALL OF US:
We know we're asking you to walk a little, park in designated areas, and follow a route. But there's a reason behind every decision we've made. When you've got hundreds of kids dressed as superheroes, princesses, dinosaurs, and everything in between, the last thing we want is unnecessary vehicle traffic mixed into the fun.
We want parents to enjoy themselves, kids to run around collecting candy, and everyone to make it home safely. So please, SHARE THIS VIDEO and information with everyone so we can have a fun and safe Halloween!
A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone helping us make this happen, and to our community for working with us to keep HAY-LLOWEEN safe, organized, and FUN!
