On Tuesday 3 November, we’ll be at ADLibrary Discovery Day in Wānaka.

If you’re designing or building in the area, come and talk to us about Harmony. Our roof windows are well suited to cooler southern climates, with thermally broken frames and double or triple glazing options.

In Wānaka, condensation control and thermal comfort are key considerations. Our team will be there to chat through sizing, specs and any project details.

11am to 7pm
ADL, 2A Frederick Street, Wānaka
Tickets $10: https://www.adlibrary.nz/discovery-day-wanaka

River Oaks Drive is a beautifully considered Tauranga residence, shaped by light, scale and detail.

Harmony Roof Windows feature throughout the home, from the main kitchen and living spaces through to bathrooms and lofts. They bring daylight deep into the interior, creating changing light, a stronger connection to natural daylight and an added sense of grandeur.

As one of our earlier Harmony projects, it is rewarding to see how naturally the roof windows sit within such a refined architectural and interior design.

This project is a great example of how roof windows can do more than brighten a room. Used thoughtfully, they can help shape the whole experience of a home.

Meet Bryce Church, who leads quoting and technical support at Adlux.

As part of the family behind Adlux, Bryce started with the business in 2004, working in the factory manufacturing and installing roof windows.

These days, Bryce quotes our larger and more complex projects and is the in-house technical support contact for architects. He also works on product development for our range of roof windows.

Bryce is particularly proud of developing the Harmony range and bringing it to market. He’s also built our in-house specification and quoting tool, which takes the complexity out of specifying custom overhead glazing and has significantly improved our response times.

A little milestone for Adlux across the Tasman

This week Matthew caught up with Tim from Emerald Building Services at their Mornington Passive House project, where our first Harmony Roof Windows supplied to Australia had arrived on site.

As our first Australian customer, the team back in New Zealand thought the occasion deserved to be marked with a certificate of recognition.

Great to see the first Harmony units on site in Australia, and even better to have them going into a Passive House project.

Thanks to Tim and the Emerald team for backing Adlux as we take our first steps into the Australian market.

The corners are one of the most important parts of a roof window frame. They need to be strong, precise and weather-tight.

That’s why each Harmony frame is robotically laser welded in our state-of-the-art welding bay. Precision laser welding creates a clean, seamless corner connection, removing the need for exposed mechanical joins at the corners.

The result is a strong, precise and weather-tight frame, built for reliable long-term performance.

A striking addition to the Forrester Gallery in Oamaru.

Designed by Tilt Architecture and built by Naylor Love, the new addition is connected to the existing building by a double-storey breezeway featuring a custom Harmony Array overhead.

The roof glazing brings natural light deep into the connection space, with the changing sunlight casting dramatic patterns across the Oamaru stone walls throughout the day.

A great example of how overhead glazing can become part of the architecture, not just a source of daylight.

Harmony in the high country.

While travelling through Tekapo last week, it was great to drive past a few projects featuring Harmony Roof Windows, especially after fresh snow that morning.

Conditions like these are a good reminder of why thermal performance matters in roof glazing. With thermally broken frames and high-performance glazing options, Harmony has been developed with challenging climates in mind.

Not a bad backdrop either.

Adlux Skylight Windows are designed for New Zealand homes, the epitome of style and functionality. Brighten your home with our roof windows.

A beautiful result for this bach renovation at Waihi Beach. Two Adlux Harmony Roof Windows installed above the kitchen help fill the space with light and create a greater sense of openness.

Finished in a colour matched to the white coastal palette, the frames blend cleanly into the roof and help preserve the relaxed aesthetic of the home.

The results for this house speak for themselves: Regional Supreme Renovation of the Year, Regional Category Winner, and Regional Gold at the Master Builders House of the Year Awards.

What sets Harmony apart?

Harmony was developed to deliver strong thermal performance without compromising on quality.

A combination of thermally broken construction, high-performance glazing options and carefully considered detailing helps make Harmony suitable for a wide range of projects and climate requirements.

Just as importantly, Harmony can be built around the project. Along with standard sizes, we provide options for custom sizes, shapes, colours and glazing. Our involvement in both design and manufacture gives architects and builders greater flexibility when a project calls for something outside the standard range.

The result is a roof window system designed around performance, flexibility and architectural integration.
