We’re proud to stand with the Connecticut Department of Transportation as they launch automated work zone speed cameras starting today, June 1. 🛣️🚧

The Know the Zone: Automated Work Zone Speed Control Program uses speed cameras to enforce posted speed limits in designated highway work zones. This is an important step in protecting our workers and making sure they go home safely at the end of their shift.

Last week, several of our leaders traveled to Washington, D.C., for CRH IMPACT Day as part of the TCC & ARTBA Fly-In. Alongside industry leaders, they advocated for the passage of another Surface Transportation Reauthorization bill, as current federal funding is set to expire on September 30, 2026.

A long-term transportation bill is essential to maintaining and improving our nation’s infrastructure, supporting jobs, enhancing safety, and giving states and contractors the certainty needed to plan for future projects.

While in D.C., our team also had the opportunity to meet with Connecticut’s Congressional Delegation to discuss the importance of continued federal investment in transportation infrastructure and its positive impact on communities across our state.
